Veterans into Logistics is a not-for-profit organisation founded to support and train ex-military personnel as HGV drivers, into the logistics industry. Weavers’ Company funding has enabled them to offer support to 8 military veterans holding criminal convictions. Three have now fully completed their training and gained their HGV licence. Of these three, one has been employed by Cadbury’s in a warehouse role subsequently, as he wanted a job that enabled him to drive staying close to home.

It has been such an honour to be able to work with the ex-offenders and be part of changing their lives around. Without the funding of The Weavers’ Company Benevolent Fund this would not have been possible.
