Inside Job are one of Beating Times’ programmes which places people who have served a prison sentence into work. They have placed/ supported 587 people. Their team includes people who are serving their own sentences, who they train as Recruiters to find the best candidates, whilst they are still in prison. They take employers into prison to interview the candidates. Once out (the really crucial bit!) they have a team that helps people over all the hurdles that stand between them and that job. It was the idea of a man serving a sentence – Jon Floyd, seen here in HMP Birmingham, with his co-director Bally Nijjar, who leads the team “on the out”. The Company supported the training and equipping of their internal recruiters and skills training for candidates.
