The Saddlers will cover fees for successful applicants with saddlery, leathercraft, or craft businesses. - [Textile Awards Lunch](https://www.weavers.org.uk/2024/02/22/textile-awards-lunch/): The Company held its annual Textile Awards in front of representatives of the UK Textile Industry on 20th February. Thomas Becket attested the first Weavers' Company Charter in 1155 so we really had to be there. - [New Cloak for the High Sheriff of Greater London](https://www.weavers.org.uk/2022/04/29/new-cloak-for-the-high-sheriff-of-london/): The very first official ceremonial garment for High Sheriffs of Greater London has been designed and created in collaboration with London College of Fashion, Making for Change and Fine Cell Work. It will be worn for the first time by the new Lady High Sheriff of Greater London, Heather Phillips. This project was supported by a number of Livery Companies including the Weavers' Company. - [Heathcoat Fabrics Receive a Queen's Award for Enterprise](https://www.weavers.org.uk/2022/04/22/heathcoat-fabrics-receive-a-queens-award-for-enterprise/): Tiverton-based textile manufacturer Heathcoat Fabrics has been recognised with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation. The company developed a high performance parachute fabric that has contributed to outstanding commercial success, including delivery of NASA's Perseverance Rover onto the surface of Mars in February 2021.  - [New Wall Hanging Unveiled](https://www.weavers.org.uk/2022/02/25/new-wall-hanging-unveiled/): At the Textile Awards on 22 February in Saddlers' Hall, Wayne Hemingway unveiled the new Company Wall Hanging.
